Global currently operates a fleet of 17 vessels worldwide.  In addition, our fleet is continually being upgraded, with six new, state-of-the-art vessels either being built or put into service over the past three years. 

Additional expansion of Global’s fleet includes the latest generation deepwater pipelay / derrick vessels, the newly launched Global 1200 (see photo at right), and the Global 1201, which will be put into service in 2011; and the multi-service vessels Olympic Challenger and the Global Orion, which began service in 2008.  In addition, the Normand Commander went into service in 2007.

Upgrades have been made to the existing Comanche, Hercules and Iroquois.

These additions and upgrades to our fleet, as well as our existing array of vessels, give us the resources necessary to strategically position Global as a major deepwater force in the offshore energy industry, and continue to keep Global as the premier solutions provider worldwide.
