Two other major components of Global’s Strategic Growth Initiatives included the geographic expansion of the business to new areas of the world, and the upgrading of the fleet.  Global now operates in virtually all of the major oil-producing regions of the world, with plans to expand even further as the world’s dependence on fossil fuels takes on an ever-increasing importance.

Global has also followed through on its promise to expand the fleet, with no less than five new vessels either coming on line or being ordered over the past 16 months.

The flagships of the fleet will be the Global 1200 and the Global 1201, two of the most modern, technologically advanced, state-of-the-art vessels of their kind in the world.  In addition, the Olympic Challenger, Global Orion, and Normand Commander are all online and actively working on projects throughout the world.
